Understanding Metaphor: a project with King's College London

I had the pleasure of working with King's College London again on a research project with their Linguistics Department.

As part of this work I completed a set of 81 illustrations to go with an experiment the University had designed for working with young bilingual children (aged 3-6).  The pictures were drawn in black and white by hand, and digitally enhanced in Adobe Photoshop.  Each picture was part of a scenario and presented complex metaphorical concepts to both English and Polish-speaking children.

I loved working on this project and drawing the wide variety of stories required! If you would like to commission me, then please send me an email.
